Hi,

I updated Kunena to v2.0 (Stable) and the Facebook login doesn't seem to appear any more, I have put the coding into the correct location.

Kunena 2.0 came out a in the last 24 hours. JFBConnect doesn't currently support that release as it's a complete rewrite of the 1.6/1.7 versions that we do support.

We'll be looking into upgrading our plugins to support Kunena 2.0, but it may take some time.

Sorry for the trouble. Until then, I'd recommend disabling the Kunena Profile plugin for JFBConnect. The JFBConnect login functionality should still work, but you won't be able to import a user's profile information into their Kunena profile for now.

Thanks for your reply.

I did what you suggested, the FB Login still doesn't appear - test5.ihavesolar.co.uk.

The CB plugin (with JFBConnect) still works, so I will use that for the time being.

Are you adding the {JFBCLogin} tag? If so, there's nothing that I know of that should be preventing that. That's not a specific function just to Kunena, and so the upgrade there shouldn't cause anything to stop working.

If you're adding that tag to the template, I'd recommend adding other text around it, like TEST{JFBCLOGIN}TEST. If the "TESTTEST" doesn't appear, then you're likely adding the tag to the wrong file. You'll need to find the new template file in Kunena that you'd need to use.

Hope that helps get you started in debugging. We'll be looking into Kunena later this week or next week. At that time, we should have more answers, but if you find anything, let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

I'm adding it as described here - www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/thir...tegration-for-kunena

I did as you suggested to the coding by adding Test on either side and it still doesn't appear.

The new template doesn't have the 'Blue Eagle 2.0' (temporary template they are using) loginbox folder.

Nathan,
Thanks for the info on what you tried. We'll have to take a look at their new template and try to determine where to add the {JFBCLogin} tag. It sounds like they just changed the files around so the instructions on the page you linked to aren't valid for 2.0 anymore.

If you happen to do more digging and find the right login template file to add the code to, let us know. Otherwise, we'll update that page when we figure something out and let you know.

Thanks,
Alex
