Ryan,
The Javascript compressor you're using on your site needs to be refreshed to grab the latest code for the new release of JFBConnect you installed. Clear the cache, reload the page, and things should start working.

Hope that helps, but if not, as always, let us know,
Alex

Cleared cache in admin area, and browser cache. Didn't help.

This file is wrong:
www.laughablenews.com/?jat3action=gzip&j...3-assets/js_e3e2a.js

The JFBConnect.js file that's included in there is the older v4.1 file. However you clear the t3-assets cache, that's what needs to be done.. or disable the compression of Javascript files for the time being until the cache expires.

Hey Alex. Ok, I found the spot to clear the T3-asset cache. That solved the login/logout issue - thank you!

But, I'm confused about the file you say is wrong. What do I need to do? Or did clearing the cache solve that issue?

By the way Alex - I appreciate your speedy support so much! You are truly the best! I have a question into another company, and 3 weeks later I have no answers or even a comment. (BOOO!)

Clearing it is what you needed to do. The file I linked to above no longer exists and isn't included on your page. The new file that was created is below and contains the correct/new version of the jfbconnect.js file:
www.laughablenews.com/?jat3action=gzip&j...3-assets/js_d639c.js

You should be good now!

No problem for the support. Hearing common questions helps us improve our extensions. It's the best feedback we can get on what we're doing right.. and wrong. Without monitoring our support so much, the Autotune features wouldn't have been developed, which have really help cut-down on some common questions while getting users up and running faster.

Thanks for helping us!

Speaking of auto tune...it told me to set my domain as laughablenews.com versus the www.laughablenews.com I had there. With the SSL I have, the domain is set to include www. Does it matter for the app? Or should you ALWAYS just have the domain, minus the www?

Hi Alex,

I have a problem with JFBC plugin Like button... it seems when I enable AceSEF, the FB like button doesn't recognize the page that should be publish on Facebook timeline. The result appears only main page of my site is rendered in FB timeline, not that specific page.

When I disable AceSEF and using Joomla 2.5.4 build in SEF, the FB Like Button works fine. Is it because of the conflict between the components and plugins?

I know I should contact AceSEF and already do it, but no answer from them. Maybe u could give some suggestion.

my site is www.ezybuzz.com

I'm using
K2, Joomla 2.5.4, AceSEF 2.5.2. JFBConnect 4.2.1
Please help. Thanks

Ryan,
Yes, Autotune is correct. Using the domain as just "site.com" allows you to use your Facebook app on www.site.com, blah.site.com, and othersubdomain.site.com. It's simply the most flexible setting, and shouldn't hurt your ability to run on any one specific subdomain (www) either. Your Website URL should be www.site.com though, if that's what your SSL is keyed for, but that's not as important in the App scheme of things.

azwanz,
Your question isn't really related to this topic (Ryan and I got off course as well...). In the future, please create a new topic. For AceSEF, I don't have any specific suggestions, but try ordering the JFBCSystem plugin after the AceSEF (and any other SEF) plugins. It's possible that may help by ensuring AceSEF is ready to parse the URLs, but no guarantees. Honestly, you can try setting the JFBCSystem plugin before it as well, just to test. After each time you change, clear the Joomla caches and use the Facebook Debug Tool to check what JFBConnect is inserting:
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
Simply clicking the Like button after you change the settings will likely still use the 'old' value. The Debug Tool will clear Facebook's cache.

If that doesn't work, create a new thread and we can help you further.

Thanks,
Alex
