Hi Alex,
Thank you for your reply. How do I unsinstall this component? I am going to keep it, I am just trying to upgrade Jomsocial 2.4 to Jomsocial 2.6. Or, can I just keep it installed without while upgrading Jomsocial without having to uninstall it? When I tried uninstalling it, I received a query of error strings and had to upload a backup of my entire website. It said something about not being able to connect to the zend folder (Jomsocial) - maybe because I didn't disable or uninstall the smaller plugins before trying to uninstall the plugins which were tied to jomsocial? Because, what I am worried about now is... Jomsocial says to uninstall the older component and then reinstall the new version of Jomsocial. Yet, when I tried to uninstall the JBCConnect component, my website showed a bunch of error strings. So... which do I uninstall first (Jomsocial or JFBC?)
Not sure. Anyways... my main goals are to install JomSocial 2.6 (beta - or maybe wait until the slated release on Monday) - and then get this component to integrate my members Jomsocial accounts to their FB accounts so when they post something on my website it will post to their FB wall. I am using a YooTheme template which has this login module position tied to that menu to create a dropdown effect (which I was trying to get the SClogin to do).
Second question, is there any way I can pay you guys a fee to configure this for me? This is the website I am speaking of:
www.ketoville.com
As you can see there is a login module at the top menu - which I would like to show the Connect FB button. I am also using the Tigra template framework to connect my website template to the tigra joomla template (which is why my Jomsocial k'munnity page has that slideshow login area). I'm sure it wouldn't be easy to add a custom FB login in that slider area.
Sorry for being a pain, I just wanted to get this to work, and am willing to pay a fee for some professionals who are familiar with this framework to get it working for me. I don't want to break my website like I have once already. Thank you Alex!
