I have installed and am testing 'JLinked System plugin' plugin on the site I am facing following problems/bugs:

1. The dropdown menu does not work (it does not drops/expands) and Image Slider (with pictures) also disappears.
2. Login using Facebook stops working for JomSocial
3. LinkIn - when I login using LinkedIn, Logout button does not work on the site (becomes non-clickable).
Just for your reference, I am using Joomla! 2.5.2 and JA Edenite template. To me these appears to be Javascript related problems caused by the plugin but I am not really sure.

I agree it sounds like Javascript issues. Can you enable the JLinked System plugin on the site for us to see what's happening? It seems like this is a 'test' site based on the path, so hopefully enabling it won't be a problem temporarily.

As for #2, I see you also have a subscription to JFBConnect. If you're using JFBConnect on the same site, you should disable JomSocial's Facebook integration. There should only be one Facebook extension in control of registrations on your site. For more information on how to best integrate JomSocial with JFBConect, see:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/thir...ration-for-jomsocial

Hope that helps,
Alex

Vicky,
Thanks for enabling the plugin. There's 2 things I see that could be the problem. The first is that it seems like your Javascript compressor is causing a conflict. It looks like it's a part of your T3 template, so look there. Try disabling it, and that should help.

The second is that the LinkedIn Javascript Library is being loaded twice, once by JFBConnect, the other from JLinked. It's likely because you are using the social buttons from JFBConnect (which will add the LinkedIn library), whereas JLinked will add it always. Not sure if this is a bug in our extensions, because I'm pretty sure we test for that. After you've disabled the JS compression above, if you're still having issues, can you then try:
1) Re-ordering the JLinked System plugin to either before or after the JFBConnect System plugin and see if one helps over the other.
2) Disabling the Social buttons in JFBConnect and enabling them in JLinked. They're pretty much the same feature between the two, so it shouldn't matter which you use.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Hi Alex,
1. I tried it after diabling (by selecting 'no' for facebook, twitter, linkedin etc. in JFBConnect component) - did not work, unfortunately.
2. Re-ordering the JLinked System plugin - did not help
3. Disabling the Social buttons in JFBConnect and enabling them in JLinked - did not work either. I even tried to disable both but the issue remain the same.
4. Tried disabling 'T3' plugin and the the whole website does not work - it seems like this plugin is mandatory for the template to work.
I also tried it on another template and found the same problem. Could you please test it for Javascript related bugs/problems and upgrade the plugin, if necessary? If you need a copy of the template for testing, I can send it to you via email.
Regards,
Vicky

Vicky,
Sorry for the delayed response. Definitely won't be able to disable the T3 plugin. Can you let check if you have any caching enabled.. either in Global Configuration, the System - Cache plugin, or in some other extension? If so, please disable it and perform the tests again. Not sure what could be causing the issue, so my hope is simply that your changes weren't taking effect because of caching.

Let me know. If not, we can help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Just checked the settings again:
1. Cache Plugin - disabled
2. Cache option in Template - Disabled
3. System Configuration - Cache disabled.
So, I guess that is not causing the problem....
Thanks,
Vicky

Vicky,
Is it possible to Private Message me some admin credentials to the site so we can test further. I'm not sure what could be causing your problems, in all honesty.

You can PM me by clicking the arrow under my picture (<----) and hitting the mail icon.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
I noticed one more problem with the plugin - when you enable 'JLinked System plugin' plugin, it causes problem with new registration on the site and you get the following error "Session expired. Please try again later." I have disabled it for now, but you can test it as you have access to both front end and backend (as mentioned above).
Thanks,
Vicky
