Vicky,
The setting in JomSocial doesn't affect the SCLogin module. I guess I need a little more clarification now that I re-read everything.

Just so you know, the Redirection setting inside the SCLogin module is used only when the Joomla username/password form is used. When the Login With Facebook button is used, the redirection setting that you've configured in the JFBConnect component Configuration area.

Can you let me know what you have each of those settings (in the SCLogin and JFBConnect component) set too? Also, let me know what way you're actually logging in.. using the Joomla username/password fields or using the Login With Facebook button.

Thanks,
Alex

I had the same issue as others in this thread.
I have two installs of Joomla 2.5 on two different dev servers.
Joomla 2.5, K2, JFBConnect, JomSocial, JoomBlog, sh404SEF and more
One versions works, the other does not.
So others don't loose 4 hours like I did, try this.
Kept getting 404 then Component not found errors after Login.
After comparing configs against both sites finally turned off "jomsocialredirect" plugin and SCLogin finally worked as expected.
Did not read the configuration guide and this probably in there. Oh well.

Goodluck.

Excellent suggestion! I'm honestly not familiar with what the jomsocialredirect plugin does, but would love to hear if it helps others with the issues.

It's not part of our configuration guide or JomSocial integration guide, but we'll gladly add it if this helps others.

Thanks for your feedback,
Alex

Hi rkeding,
Thanks for your suggestion. I realised that if you select 'no' for 'Override com_user registration' option in jomsocialredirect plugin than it works as well (also if you disable it altogather). I would like to keep it enabled as the user is now redirected to their profile page but thanks a lot for your help..
Cheers,
Vicky

This is great to know. We haven't tested with the jomsocialredirect plugin, honestly, but we'll do some investigation into what's causing the errors and see if we can work around them.

The 4.2 release is scheduled for April, and we'll be investigating for that release. Hopefully, we'll have some good news. Until then, please disable it or set the 'no' option that contactmaan recommends above.

Thanks,
Alex
