hi i m working with
j Joomla! 2.5.28 and JFBconnect Version: 7.0.2
I try to connect with the channel fb in order to post articles in fb pages..
but it seems not working, i try to add the permissions on fb "manage_pages" but when i try to log in with fb i got an error page from fb..
any ideas?
I have to upgrade or it is related to others issue??

You should not have to request the manage_pages yourself. JFBConnect will determine that you have a channel that needs it and request it for you on your next login with that user. Could you follow the steps here for channel setup and pay special attention to the section for "When logging in on the front-end, Facebook fails to prompt for "USER_GROUPS" or "manage_pages" permissions". Then let us know if you continue to have problems.

I have to upgrade or it is related to others issue??

There have been some changes to Channels in the past releases, but I don't think that's the cause of this without more details.

Thank you for pointing me into the right direction
Now it allow me to connect to FB and to allow the right permission in FB app,
but in the back end it doesn't allow me to select any page (it is blank!!)
i try it with 2 admin of the page that i m trying to connect with ( that are also admin of the app) but no pages are showing
i try to see if there are errors in the error.log file but nothing there..
also no error in the js console..
do you have any suggestion about it??

by the way i have another question it is possible in some way to allow auto-posting virtuemart products??

thank you melissa,
everything went fine at the end..
probably something to do with cache of the browser ( as i resolved it as soon as i logged in using a anonymous window)

by the way i have another question it is possible in some way to allow auto-posting virtuemart products??

I'm glad you managed to resolve the channel configuration. It's a complicated process sometime, so I'm glad you were able to get it going.

Currently, we do not have this capability. I have added an issue to our tracker to investigate VM autoposting, but don't have a timeline on when we can address it.
