No Facebook Connect Image

I have the same issue but Mootols is enabled in the RT Template. I might add that without the JS Compatibility turned on in the template it doesn't work in FF either. I would suggest that there is a compatibility issue with your code and something in the RT Template but now only in IE. Are you using some standard JS rather than Mootols? This is most likely the problem. Can I suggest that you actually turn on error reporting in Joomla when you test your problem.
