Thanks. I am running on Linux and all commercial components are legit even the template :D, so problem due to pirated components is unlikely.

So I guess, if you can help me on identifying the culprit, I'll try to uninstall them and see whether the warning is still there.

I agree with you that this kind of thing would certainly scare off visitors.

Is this also probable cause of facebook image problem ?

I don't know much about the warning. My earlier advice is still the same advice: On the pages the Avatar doesn't show up (which indicates the FB calls are not functioning correctly), unpublish modules until it starts working. Then start enabling them again and see which one (or combination) seems to be preventing the avatar from showing up. Let us know which one(s) are causing the problem, and we'll look into it more.

I'm not suggesting to disable the modules permanently, but there are obviously plenty of people using JomSocial and Fireboard with JFBConnect, so there's something about your configuration that we need to narrow down before we can really dive in and try to provide a solution.

The false virus warning came from one of the hwdvideoshare module. As it's been diabled, hopefully it gives no more warning.

Now, for the f-connect button :
- Using firefox : the button can not appear on the same page as JomSoc component.
- Using firefox : the button originally also does not appear along with foreboard, but now it's solved. I added a line in fireboard.php to avoid JQuery conflict.
- Using opera : the button does not appear at all.

Any body having the same problem? Sourcecoast team pls assist. My site is : <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="www.pencerahanhati.com">www.pencerahanhati.com

Thanks.

I'm having a very similar problem! But issue is this module and component work amazingly well (and I'm a huge fan by the way) but the facebook connect image is only visible in firefox, in internet explorer it cannot be seen on any page! I have jomsocial, myblog and jomcomment installed the module displays with no problems on any of those pages in firefox with the exception that it does not display on any page using internet explorer. I am using a joomlabamboo template, has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Hey all,

I'm having the same issue. However, I may have some additional info to add. I went to my host and reset my database and it seemed to take care of the issue for a few hours, but now it is no longer working. My site is <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://OMspot.com.I'm">http://OMspot.com.I'm using the basic JFBC connect login.

I havent givin this a ton of effort until now. I haven't completely launched yet so i have plenty of other issues to worry about. However, I'm hoping to get it taken care of soon.

Thanks for all the help and conversation!

All,
If you can follow the advice given above (disabling modules to see when the button appears), it would greatly help. Without posting a website to test, it's impossible to make progress on this.

Henri,
With Firefox, I'm able to see the image on the JomSoc component. I'm assuming you've fixed this issue from a long time ago.

Rootlock,
I can't find JFBC anywhere on your page.

Vpopovic,
I'm sure you're trying to get your money back from JomSocial too then, correct? :) Seriously, more information will help us narrow this down, but comments like that don't help anyone, and basically delay your help.

Sorry about that... I removed it so that I could try to figure it out...

I think I have some new info though: When I view the site via Safari, the image is there. Still no in Firefox (also Flock) or IE

I've tried unpublishing and disabling items and I've moved it to various pages but still no luck.

Thanks for the reply... Hopefully this is useful info. I'm really stumped (but i'm new at this so that's fine)

Peace

Hello guys,

I have the same problem on [url:2g7zdff2]http&#58;//www.yellowkings.com[/url:2g7zdff2]: the FBConnect Button does not show, instead there is a text: Login using Facebook, but it does nothing! No link, no nothing! Have my FB Keys set alright... tried a ton of different things and positions!
Also the same with the FBConnect Invite Module... just the module name text, then nothing more.. on any page!

I am using Joomla J!1.5.9, FF3, JomSocial, MyBlog, JomComment, a ton of Javascript / ParaInvite Module which disables Mootools to work, also a different Login Module (YooLogin) and so on... a lot of possible problems... but hey, I paid for this and want to use it, so please help me out :)

Unfortunately, the line where you say Mootools is disabled is what's causing the problem. JFBCLogin requires the Mootools to function. Can you re-enable it? There's ways around this, but it will cause your page to load much slower, and is not recommended.
