JFBConnect Status (updated 11/7/2009)

First of all -- great job.
Some minor issues
1. There is a component com_jfbconnect_j1.5_v2.0.1 and mod_jfbclogin_j1.5_v2.0.3. I installed both of them. Enabled the module to display on left.
The enabled couple of plugins which gets installed along with component.

Did not try this -com_jfbconnect_j1.5_v2.1.0test (sure it is just a test component?)

Created face book api and secret key using my existing login and password of facebook.
When I try to login using my facebook login id - it opens another window (popup) shows following message?

Under Construction
<URL> is under construction.
Note to application developers:
To fix this error, please set your Connect URL in the application settings editor. Once it has been set, users will be redirected to that URL instead of this page after logging in.

I could not find - Connect URL in application setting editor. where do i need to configure this? can any one help?

Ok -- now i get this error

00 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: jfbconnect,html,jfbconnectView

I just purchased this today - as it looks like you are progressing, and tried the test version
I can not view the profile as it is not confirmed? - will this be the same with the stable version?

Also - I want to use the cb login - but not both - the cb version has content relating to connections mail, etc....
and in the future may have updates that I would not get the benefit of, unless using the original login...
Is there a way to use only the "button" for jfbc ?

i just purchased and installed this last night. and when i hit the facebook connect button on my main page it works fine, but if i go to a different page it was telling me it was trying to connect to a different website. Now when i try it on a page other than the home page it says page under construction and says the url of another website (not mine) and tells me to go to the developers application settings and connect it. I have no idea what is going on here and would appreciate any help you could give me.

also the url it wants to connect to from my site is not of an appropriate nature.

the way i found out it was doing this was when i logged using the facebook connect on my home page and navigated to another page on my site my facebook profile pic would disappear. so i signed out and tried to sign in from that page and that's when i realized what it was trying to do.

JFBConnect used to work well with JomSocial 1.1. Since I upgraded to JomSocial 1.2, user profiles are no longer updated with Facebook profile info such as About Me, Interests, etc. Is there a fix for this? Is this happening with anyone else?

Hi,
It would be fine to have all english strings in the language file (.ini).
Each time i upgrade the component, i need find english strings under its file (.php) and change them manually.
Also, facebook's URL ends with en_EN, so the language is english; it would be fine to choose it, so we can put it_IT or what we need.
