I am using the latest Joomla + Latest Community builder with com_jfbconnect_j1.5_v2.1.2 and mod_jfbclogin_j1.5_v2.1.1.zip.

When trying to login with a new account, it pops up a window, prompts me for fb username and password, after entered it just logs me into facebook. doesn't close the window, create an account, nothing.

Can you provide a link to your site? That helps us a lot in cases where it can be many different issues.

First things to check:
- Is your callback URL showing up properly in the JFBConnect Overview page?
- Is this URL the correct URL for your site (exactly what you see in the title bar on your home page, not a sub-page?)
- Are your API and Secret keys set correctly? You'll see an error if they aren't
- Did you enable both the Authentication and Namespace plugins?

Let us know what you come up with.

You need to go to <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="www.facebook.com/developers">www.facebook.com/developers and create an application for your website. Mainly, just set your Callback URL's to your home page URL. When that's done, insert your API and Secret key into the configuration area of JFBConnect.

That should make your callback URL show up (and it should be your home page). Post here if you still have issues when that's complete.

is a connect url and a callback url the same thing?

double checked keys they are fine. my connect url is <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="code.intown411.com/">code.intown411.com/ and it still not showing up in the overall config.

I just poked around on the HTML in your page and have 2 questions:
1) In the top <html> tag, you include the <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.facebook.com/2008/fbml">www.facebook.com/2008/fbml. Did you do this? Can you remove it? I don't think it's cauing the problem, but the Namespace plugin accomplishes the same thing (and is multi-browser to boot). It's possible that this is causing a conflict, but I really don't think that's the case (so don't wast much effort on it).

2) What SEF are you using? Is that just the built in Joomla, or something special?

Things to check:
1) Is an error showing up in the Configuration area, or is it just blank?
2) Can you turn Error Reporting up to "Maximum" (in Site->Global Configuration under Server tab) and check the overview page and your home page to see if any warnings or notices pop up? Turn it off when done.
3) The 2 main areas to set your URL are in the "Canvas" section of FB under "Canvas Callback URL" and in the "Connect" section under "Connect URL". These should be the page you mention below.

If none of these work or provide any info, I may need to get login information to your site to test some things.

I'm assuming there were no warnings or errors when you set Error Reporting to Maximum?

I think you've stumped us. Can you IM me some admin credentials to log into the backend of your site to determine what might be going on?
