Problem with Artio and Itemid

In the 4.0 release next week, we'll be including an option to automatically add the Google +1 and Twitter Share buttons into the Content plugin. This will let you add those buttons automatically to any Joomla or K2 articles. If that's what you're looking for, you'll be set soon.

If not, we'll likely be adding the ability to add those to the JFBCLike module in the 4.1 release. Alternatively, we'd recommend looking through the JED which may be able to help you find a similar solution sooner.

If all goes well with our final tests, we'll be putting it on our sites (including this one) in a few hours.. and it will be available to all later today/tonight. Working on the release blogpost, changelog, and updated documentation now.

We share you're excitement

Right now, the Google+, Twitter Share, and LinkedIn Share buttons are only available to add automatically to your articles if you're using the Content plugin. In the tab for Likes (either Joomla or K2), there's a new setting there called "Show Twitter/GooglePlus Buttons:", enable that, and you'll get your buttons. You can see what they look like, when configured for box-count, on the 4.0 announcement post below:

In a future version, we'll likely be adding these as options for the JFBCLike module/tag, but we wanted to get feedback on the current implementation first.

Just to clarify, the setting is in the Social configuration area of JFBConnect, and either in the Content Plugin - Like or Content Plugin - K2 Like tabs.
