No problems. We hopefully should have all your questions answered in our configuration guide:
www.sourcecoast.com/extensions/jfbconnect/configuration-guide

The main required installation is the com_jfbconnect file. This installs the main component and some required plugins. The configuration guide will take it from there. The modules are all optional, depending on if you want to add a Like button, Fanbox, etc.

If you run into issues or have questions about any step, just let us know!

Thanks Alex, well I have all the required and social extensions installed & published with the green check mark, but I dont see anything new on my site. All I need is for the users to be able to login with their fb accts, post comments and the likes option and fanbox (but I have that already previous to buying JFBConnect)

The only thing you should need to do (outside of the standard configuration settings in the linked guide) is enable the JFBCLogin module and set it to display in a visible module position on your site.

If you're not seeing the JFBCLogin module, you're correct, something's not right. Once you get that showing though, you should be on your way.

Hope this helps, but if not, send a link to your page and we can look and let you know a position that should work to put the module in.

Thanks, and good luck!

The link to that site doesn't work. If you get it up, feel free to ask for assistance.

Mainly, what I'd do if I saw the page is append ?tp=1 to the URL. This will show all available template positions:
www.reggaetonnews.net/blog?tp=1

Then, select one available position on the page and set the JFBCLogin module to show in that position. Also, make sure it's published, Public viewable, and set to show on all menu items. Once done, it should appear and you can start testing.

Hope that helps!

Ok so I got the JFBLogin to work, but I have a couple more questions...sorry..
1) For the comments to show on every article, do I have to add { JFBCComments} all the time to every article? Because right now thats the only way is showing on the articles.

2) I had to remove the fan box, that I got the code from facebook because for some reason it was interfering with the JFBLogin module. So how do I setup the fan box now?

appreciate all the help, Thanks

Don't apologize for the questions. It's why you subscribed. We're thankful for that, and ready and willing to help however we can. Thank you!

1) There's a few ways to do this. We'd recommend downloading and installing the JFBCContent plugin. This has the option to add a Like and/or Comment box to every article on your site. This plugin will also be installed by default with the 3.2 extension coming out next week, and will have a lot more configuration options as to which section, category, or article it will show it. If you're interested more in the 3.2 release, see our sneak peek blog post:
www.sourcecoast.com/blog/item/106-jfbconnect-32-sneak-peek
Don't worry, everything should work just like normal when you install it, so your configuration now won't go to waste.. there will just be a lot more stuff to play with then too :)

2) We have a JFBCFan module that you can install and use. It should let you configure it similar to how you configured the code you got from Facebook. If you'd prefer to use what you already had (your code), you can. The code that facebook provides has a script inclusion like <script href="...all.js". Simply remove that line, and it shouldn't interfere with JFBConnect anymore. We already include that file.

Hope that helps, but if not, let us know and we'll get you going!
