Hi. When I convert my facebook to Use Facebook as Page. The modules gave a blank white space. When I switch back to Use Facebook as piece the Like module works. The reason I switch facebook as page was the FB fan module did not dispplay an error facebook page even though I have input the correct ID (which is a custom ID). Please help.

Can you explain what you mean by using your Facebook as Page? Are you loading your Joomla site into a Facebook Page? If so, can you post a link to your page, so we can see what's happening?

Finally, I'm not sure what you mean by the FB Fan module did -not- display an error even though you put the correct ID in. Were you expecting an error?

Thank you, and we'll do what we can to help you out.

We just tested the JFBCFan module with the Page ID in your 4th image. It worked fine for us and showed a few posts with a Like button like it should.

Can you post the URL to the page you're trying to use the JFBCFan module on so we can see what code is being inserted into the HTML. That will help us diagnose what's going wrong on your site.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry, not sure how I missed that in the previous post.

I created a test page that you can see how it's working for us. All we've done in this page is create a new JFBCFan module. In the AppId parameter, set the value to "47354853052", which is your Page ID, and then loaded that module in an article:
sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/demo/index.ph...nt&view=article&id=5

The module isn't enabled on your page right now, but hopefully, you can enable it and look at the HTML that is generated on your page versus what's on our page above. Look for <fb:like-box ... in both pages, and the text in that tag should be similar. If it's not, try to fix the parameters so it is.

I looked at the rest of the HTML on your page, and don't see anything else that should be a problem. Setting the "Use Facebook as Page" setting doesn't make any difference for the JFBCFan module. That only makes your 'home' page in Facebook the Fan page so you can check status of the page easier.

Hope this helps. Let us know if there's anything else we can help with!

Hi
Thanks for looking into the matter. The JFBCFan module was not enabled as it creates a blank white space before I find the solution (see earlier attachments). Right now the JFBCLike module is enabled and my facebook account is set to serve as page. Check out the URL www.pieceofmine.asia again and you will see the JFBCLike is a white blank box (My apology - my client switch back their facebook to the normal page earlier - that's why you don't see the error). Appreciate your help.

Hi
Just a further note. The test website that you have setup using my facebook ID is also showing a blank space. Awaiting your findings.

Thanks

Yes it does :) I've attached an image of it below, using Chrome.. we've also tested it successfully in IE. If you're not seeing that, please:
1) Try in Chrome or IE, or any other browser than you're using now
2) Try from a different computer
3) Put the JFBCFan module on a page on your site that we can test with (even if it's not your home page or something easily navigable, like we did on our demo site)

Hi Alzander
Yes it show up now! And I wonder why...it could be facebook take sometime to propagate when some changes is made. (my bad). Thanks so much for your patience.
On another note - is there away I can insert JFBCFan and JFBCLike in an article? If so what are the syntax to use?

Again thanks for the great support!
