White screen doesn't close and/or redirect to the profile page as set in configurations. I read all the posts about this issue that you had and doesn't seem to help. I don't have SH404 so I'm not sure the same solution works for me. You did make mention that you were coming up with some RC4 or something to fix the issue. Did you do that and how do I fix this problem?

Note: when I manually close the screen and refresh the page, I see it logged me in. Also it fails to import avatar...my site is bbtchurch.com

If you're ever getting a white-screen, that almost always means there's a PHP error. If it's easy to recreate, we'd ask that you set Error Reporting to "Maximum", get the white page, and paste the error you're getting here. It will help us to diagnose the problem almost immediately. For information on how to enable error reporting, read the Enable Error Reporting section below:

Also, are you integrating with any other components (CB, JomSocial, or Kunena?)

Hi, thanks for your reply

I am currently using integration with Joomsocial. I recently run a migration tool to move from CB). I also have installed Kunena forum.

I made the change in administration > error "maximum" but the same white screen without any error message appears after login attemp. you still have to refresh to see you are logged in. and even then, you are not directed to the specified page. My website is www.bbtchurch.com/community if you want to try and see for yourself. I'll leave to error setting at maximum so you can try. Another bug which I found was if a new user tries to login using their facebook account, it says congrats...you have been authenticated and asks if they want to import their avatar and so but when they select continue, it gets stuck in a loop and doesn't do anything. please help

I think all the issues (improper redirect, no profile import) are caused by the same issue (the white screen).

I believe the Kunena integration might be the problem. Did you have 1.5 of Kunena installed and upgrade to 1.6? We think we know of an issue in that particular case. If so, please disable Kunena integration for now, see if that works, and if we'll get you hooked up soon.

If not, it might be best to Private Message us a super admin account for the site so we can get in and poke around. If that's not possible, we'll continue helping you here, don't worry!

Ok I'm using the latest version of kenuna (version 1.6.1)
I disabled integration for this but problem persists. I'm going to PM u my administration info so u can dig in....thanks

You can use the Messages tab at the top, or click the down arrow under my name (<----) and click the mail icon. We agree, it's probably a little too hidden. Sorry about that!

Hi, I was doing some testing and found that the issue is not coming from your Jfbconnect. Well at least I think so. I placed modules of the jfbonnect on various pages and they seem to work fine without any hiccups. The problem is coming from the actual community page where there is the jomsocial "registration page" I think the Facebook connect that comes with jomsocial is what is causing the problem. I deleted the API keys for that and the icon no longer appears. What I want to be able to do now is replace your modules on the community page and disable the jomsocial resgistration page altogether. I think community builder has better security and flexibility for user access control and would like to continue using that. I'm not even sure if I can use both community builder and jomsocial concurrently. Please advice.

No, you can't use JomSocial's Facebook integration and JFBConnect's integration at the same time. You'll need to remove the API keys from JomSocial, like you said you've done.

As for using CB and JomSocial together, as they mostly work independently of the other. I don't think you should have conflicts with CB, JS, and JFBConnect, but I think it would be hard to manage all the different aspects and prevent a user from updating the 'wrong' profile. Our demo site uses all 3 without any issue, but I wouldn't consider it a 'real' site.

After your explanation of how you're trying to work, I'm not sure what community page you're talking about when you say:

I must say this is the only plugin I've purchased that has this great support. Thanks a lot...
I'm running a church website and trying to create a community to encourage interactivity and to get more traffic to the site. With CB, I can have access levels and control who can submit an article or publish articles to the site. With Jomsocial, I have a better looking community interface. So I'm trying to get best integration to keep both functionalities. I've setup CB to handle user management. Perhaps you have a better solution. All the same, You have been very good and I'm glad I got this plugin
