Hi there,

we in need of an urgent assistance. We've just purchased the JFBConnect plugin. The sign in with linkedin button was successfully added to our newly created landing page. (https://the group.co.za/index.php/landing-page)

the sign in works perfectly, but we keep getting the error "Application not configured" after logging in.

When I visit the landing page above, I see the 'Sign in With LinkedIn' button at the bottom. However, it does not function as some required Javascript from JFBConnect is not included on the page.

Can you double-check that:
* You have the latest version of JFBConnect installed - v9.0.147?
* You've enabled the JFBConnect Authentication, User and System plugins?

I'm assuming those were enabled before when you saw the error though. For 'Application not configured', please ensure you've gone through all steps of our LinkedIn Setup Guide . The error you saw can happen in any of the following situations:
- The API / Secret key are not copied over exactly into JFBConnect
- The 'Domain' is not set properly (step 5)
- The OAuth Redirect URLs are not correct (step 6a)
- You have not opted into Sign In with LinkedIn functionality (Step 7.3)

I hope that helps get you started, but if you still need assistance, please get JFBConnect up-to-date and enabled and we'll do whatever we can to help!

Thanks,
Alex

Hi There,

Thanks, so I finally came right, I was missing the redirect url from my LinkedIn App.

Is there a way we can let users insert only their linkedin profile url and importing it to FJBConnect on our forms. We need this as the form will have multiple user registrations.

It sounds like you want to import profile data into your registration process so that data is added to a new user's profile. We do support profile import into several third-party profile systems, as described here . If you follow the steps, you'll be able to map which LinkedIn fields will be pulled in.

If this is not what you're asking for, could you please clarify?
