Applying the plugin to category metadata and adding more than 5 fields was created by energetica

Hi,

this plugin is really useful and works well. We are using Seblod to add the metadata fields we need to content pages. However we do need to add additional metadata to either category descriptions and/or menu items. Are you able to extend this plugin so it works with these two content types? Being able to select the content types it is apllied to would be fantastic.

Also are you able to increase the five fields limit?

The Set Meta Data plugin is definitely limited in that it only works with certain content right now. We don't have plans to improve it right now or add more features. It's a free plugin that we have no problem giving away, but we don't have the time or resources to devote to it to add integration with 3rd party extensions or other types of Joomla integration points.

We do appreciate the feedback and hope you make good use of the plugin as it is. Of course, our extensions are GPL licensed which means that you, or any other developer, are free to modify it as you wish.
