I just tried to login on that site, but the Login popup shows:

Error
App Not Setup: The developers of this app have not set up this app properly for Facebook Login.

Can you make sure you've followed the Facebook application configuration guide , specifically step 8. That will enable your app for users to login.

With that, we can test further.

Also, can you tell us
* What the URL is that the "Forbidden" error is showing?
* Is a user actually created on the site?
My only guess is that the new user redirection or returning user redirections are set to a URL that wouldn't be accessible to the user (like a "Special" or unpublished menu item).

I hope the above helps get you started, but if not, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

That's a different site than you linked to above. Are you testing on the different site now, or is the one you originally linked to somehow redirecting to the other site? Not sure how I should be testing.

The only reason I can think of that you'd see that Forbidden error from the URL you linked is if Apache's mod_security (or some other firewall/security feature) is blocking the access for some reason. The index.php file should definitely be accessible if the rest of your page loads. That error means that Joomla (and hence JFBConnect) isn't being loaded at all. We'll need to narrow down why Apache isn't handling the request properly.

I hope that helps make some progress or gives some ideas. If not, let us know where we should be testing.

Thanks,
Alex

i tell you why the links is different.
i installed the jfbconnect to my existing testing joomla site. and to be sure there is no plugin or some mods conflicts i start my site to a new one.
the last url. joomla.unlimited-gaming-community.com/joomla/ is a fresh new last version joomla site.
i also tested it on a existing site mandelnieuws.be like the image i uploaded.
al these are giving the same problems. de test sites are just de same domain but just a subdomain. that's all.
mandelnieuws.be is a new domain but the same host server.

I just tried to register using Facebook on your site. After I authenticated through Facebook, I can't navigate your site anymore at all. Every page (even your home page) returns the "Forbidden" message.

When authentication occurs, Facebook drops a few cookies in the browser for the user. Those cookies are always passed back to your site on page loads. It seems like the following cookie is somehow triggering a security issue on your server, but I have no idea why or how. We've never seen anything like it before. The cookie itself is:
Name: fbsr_624102664335370
Value: qOLK4OEMopuQbzYBRPb_pKWWOlBtG3wbOqxmJ8c
Both of those will be different every time someone logs in, but it consistently won't let me load your site whenever cookies of that form are in the browser.

With that, you'll need to talk to your hosting company / tech provider and have them look through their firewall logs to determine why that cookie is causing a security exception and have them fix that problem.

I hope that helps get you going, but if there's any more we can do to help, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

Figured it was. Never seen a rule cause that problem before, but seen other similar problems.

Glad you have things up and running now and glad we could help get you going. Should you run into any other issues or need anything else, just let me know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:
