Installed in Joomla 3.0
to finish instaler gave error as shown in the attachment.

Is this a fresh install of JFBConnect, or did you migrate the site from Joomla 2.5 and are using old tables from that site? We're trying to recreate the problem, and should have an answer soon, but more information would help.

Also, latino7, are you seeing both of the same issues (the SQL install error and the error when going to the JFBConnect admin area)?

Hi, I am having a very similar issue. This happens when trying to install com_jfbconnect_j3.0_v5.0.0Beta.zip on Joomla 3.

And I get the same exact issue as OP when trying to access the component.

My Joomla installation is a few months old, and is hosted on a not so fast GoDaddy linux hosting plan.

Hi:

My setup was a clean Joomla 3.02 (no JFB update). Same errors at backend and apache logs as mardom.

PHP 5.4.11, Joomla 3.02, Apache 2.4.3, MySQL 5.5

We've found the issues. It's only on new installations (not migrations) that the issue should occur. The database upgrade steps are causing problems depending on configurations, and should be an easy fix.

We'll be releasing an updated beta version either later today or tomorrow.
