The registration component lists 3 different registration options (JFB, Joomla and JomSocial). I have a different registration component that is used to purchase a registration. Where I can modify the code to select where I want the registration part to navigate to instead of Joomla where I have it going now? I want it to go to www.gofishcity.com/membership and NOT here...

You can set the "Registration Component" option to "Custom". Then point the "Custom Registration Link" option to a menu item pointing at the www.gofishcity.com/membership page. It should be as simple as that, but if you have problems with those settings, please let us know.

Registration Component in JFBConnect: Configuration does NOT have a drop down "Custom Registration Link". It only has Joomla, JFB Connect, and JomSocial options. Is there some other place this can be updated?

I just re-read one of your previous posts. The option that I'm referring to is in SCLogin, not the JFBConnect component configuration area. It is used when you're trying to create a Joomla user only.

The Registration Component setting in JFBConnect is to be used for registration with social network credentials. It brings the user through a different flow when clicking on the social login buttons. We currently only support the three that you mentioned (JFBConnect, Joomla and JomSocial)

Can one of those codes for the redirect say JFBconnect be modified to direct where I want it to go which is to /membership so the facebook link requires them to PAY and register?

There are multiple membership subscription extensions out there that our users have been able to make work with JFBConnect. It's a matter of flow on how to set it up, but usually, requiring payment for access follows a path like:
* User is shown a page that describes membership levels (optional)
* User logs in with Facebook - JFBConnect automatically creates them a new account without a membership
* The New User Redirection setting brings them to the membership page where they select their plan and pay

After that, the user can authenticate with their Facebook credentials and will either have no membership (if they didn't pay or it expired) or will be authenticated at the membership level they paid for.

I hope that helps explain, but if you need anything else, please let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Ok. So my client had some changes. I set the following on the settings page.

Login / Logout
New User Redirection: Member Services (menu)
Returning User Redirection: same page
Integrate into Joomla Login: Bottom

And I created a menu item for sclogin to login for a specific page so a user can login and STAY on that page. BUT it's directing them to the HOME page no matter what I do. (Joomla Login Redirection URL: GO NEWS). The module ID is 736. The public page this is on is on www.gofishcity.com/go-places/go-news

I have another module that is the standard login on the main page www.gofishcity.com/login. The module ID is 664. It's set to Login Redirection URL: HOME (menu) which is correct.

The login module on the 'go-news' page has the 'return' url set to: www.gofishcity.com/go-places/go-news
That seems like what you want it to be. When you say it's bringing you to the home page, can you tell me how you're authenticating - with a social network or joomla credentials?

Also, can you try (temporarily) disabling SEF URLs to see if the redirection works properly with non-SEF URLs?

Thanks,
Alex
