Alex,

I want to import facebook profile details automatically once a person logs in through facebook for that i clicked on jfb connect profile tab but it says profile plug in is not enabled where no such plugins are there in disabled plug in check the screen shot. In joomla 2.5 u dont have separate files for plugins and module only one zip file is there i installed it and i am wondering how this plug in got missed how can i install it

In the latest v5.1.0 release, the files social profile plugins are installed automatically with the main component. You already posted that the new JomSocial plugin did not install properly. Did you follow the directions in this post yet? That describes where you can find the individual file to install as well as what you should look to do since it was failing installation before.
