Can you go to the Joomla Extension Manager - Manage area. Then, search for "JomSocial" and make sure that in the "Version" column is a value greater that 2.4.0. Please let us know what that version is and we can test further to see if there's an issue with our installation script.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for posting that picture of the Extension manager. It's likely the word 'Pro' in the version that is throwing our version comparison logic off.

For now, you can:
* unzip the com_jfbconnect....zip file that you downloaded from this site
* in the /admin/packages/plugins/socialprofile plugins folder, you'll find the jomsocial profile plugin.
* Unzip the contents of that folder to your servers /plugins/socialprofiles/jomsocial directory.
* Delete the install.php file in that folder
* Go to the Extension Manager -> Discover area and search for updates

That should properly update the plugin for you.

We're looking into a fix for the next release to properly detect the version a little better.

Thanks for the report, and I hope the above helps,
Alex

Nitish,
Sorry about that. It's in the /admin/install/packages/plugins/socialprofiles directory. Please check there and let me know if that works.

Also, we tried to recreate this issue, but had some difficulty doing so. Can you let me know a little more about your configuration:
* Is your server running Windows or Mac/Linux?
* What version of PHP are you using?

Thanks,
Alex
