I have tried the same with the friends module but same result.
Autotune tells me everything is ok.

I am stuck now what to do ;-)

Pieter,
The Facebook Like Box (or Fan) module only works with Facebook Pages. The URL you provided to the module is for a personal profile, and Facebook does not allow that.

On your site, I don't see the Friends module. That module will *only* show the avatars of friends of the current user that already has authenticated on your site. So, the module will show nothing when:
* The current user isn't logged into Facebok.com
* The current user that is logged into Facebook doesn't have any friends who are already using (authenticated on) your website.

I hope that helps,
Alex

So I am confused here. If www.facebook.com/amsterdamwestband is not a correct url, what type of FB page should I be using.

Pieter,
That URL is a user's personal profile URL. You'd need to create a Facebook Page, which is meant for brands or companies, like www.facebook.com/sourcecoast

For more information, see:
www.facebook.com/pages/create.php

There is also a way to convert a Facebook user profile to a Page. The below page describes a lot more information about Pages vs Profiles:
www.facebook.com/help/175644189234902

I hope that helps,
Alex

I have migrated the personal profile to a FB Page but the output of the Fan module does not show what I expected to see like the timeline (?).
The FB url is: www.facebook.com/pages/Awest-Band-Leger-...eils/563286653805700
And the output on the webpage is like this: www.amsterdamwestband.nl/
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

BTW, This is so strange because on a other wbesite I had all this worked like a dream; so I am sure the confusion on my part is still there ;)

Pieter,

I went to your link www.amsterdamwestband.nl/ and am confused at what you're expecting to see versus what is showing on your page. Here's a screenshot of the Like Box that I see on your page:
File Attachment:

* On the www.facebook.com/pages/Awest-Band-Leger-...eils/563286653805700 page, there is only one post by the page and that is showing up on your Like Box feed.
* I see that you made a post on the FB page yesterday as Pieter J.van Horssen, but that will not show up in the feed as it is someone else posting to the page, not a post from the page.
* If you want a more inclusive way to show the stream of all posts by the page and from other users, with the ability to customize the view as you'd like, we provide the SCSocialStream module to do this. To use the stream, first you have to create a channel in our backend and then an instance of the SCSocialStream module with that channel selected. For more information, please see the first two articles listed in this page www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/posting/

If this is not the problem that you're having, please clarify what you're expecting.

Thanks
-Melissa

Thanks Melissa.

I do not seem to be able to find the SCSocialStream module in the package.
Is that a charged option?

We don't have any additional paid add-ons for JFBConnect. Whatever we make, we include with our releases.

The SCSocialStream module should be installed automatically whenever JFBConnect was installed. It was first released with JFBConnect v6.2.0, and is in all releases after that version.

If you can't find an instance of it in the Module Manager already, click the "New" button and look for it in the popup.

I hope that helps,
Alex
