NOTE that you must first go to bilasidan.is/?viktor=1 to activate the site for your ip
The above statement is the cause for the problem. Facebook cannot access your site. Until your site goes live and the scraper can get to the real content on the page, the only information it can get from your page are from the following two metatags. There are no og image tags on the page that Facebook can see, unless you visit the page to activate the site, which Facebook has no knowledge of how to do this.<base href="http://bilasidan.is/" /> <meta name="description" content="Allt um bíla, hvort sem þú ert að kaupa, selja eða sækist eftir upplýsingum. Þá er þetta staðurinn fyrir þig." />
Until it's live, this will remain the behavior, as expected. I wouldn't consider it a problem for now.

The link to the Login page should have ?return=xyz type parameter. The standard Joomla login page should respect that. If not, you may have the System - JomSocial Redirect plugin enabled, which can force a user to their profile.EDIT - One more thing. Is it somehow possible for me to have the SCLogin module completely override the stock joomla module?
I have a message portal on the website - if users get a new message they get a email notification about that. In that notification is a link to the message. When the users visits that link they are promped to log in but it comes up with the joomla login. once they are logged in through that they are forced to they'r profile instead of the message that the link was pointing them to..
Is there some way for me to have your SCLogin system take over that feature and once users are logged in they are directed to the message?
The site is still offline. Whenever you put it online, Facebook will take a few days to re-scan your content and fetch the new, updated tags. To have Facebook immediately scan and re-cache the tags, you'll want to use the Facebook URL Debug Tool.

On the Login page, you can have the JFBConnect social login buttons automatically show by setting the "Integrate with Joomla Login" setting to "Yes" in JFBConnect.
I hope that helps, but if you need anything else, let us know.
No problem. Again, you can use the Facebook URL Debug Tool to scan your pages and have individual URLs updated immediately. That's good to do on any 'critical' pages while you wait for Facebook to automatically re-scan the others.Yes I put it offline again. I will have to give it few days after the site goes live then I guess. thank you current/smile
What is redirecting to the profile page? In JFBConnect, we have a setting for New User Redirection and Returning User Redirection. Is that set to "Profile Page"? If not, it sounds like some other extension is performing the redirect there and you'll need to determine what.I do get the fb/twitter login buttons when the login page appears but using that allso directs me to the profile page.
Joomla does. If you set an article to "Registered", when a user tries to view it, they'll be brought to the login page with the ?return=.. param set. When they login, they'll be brought back to it. It sounds like something else is hijacking the login process. So I guess my only option is to hope that the developer can add the ?return rule parameter to the urls? Really annoying that the joomla login feature does not have this feature built in. current/tongue
