Ok for the last hour I've tried testing out posts and they are just not showing up the way I wish.

First, directly from my k2 blog I tried to share a post on Google Plus and Facebook and it kept bringing up the wrong image in the preview window. I tried erasing the image from the post and reuploading. I even took away the image and it still showed one. Where this image is being pulled from is beyond me.

I finally tried editing words in the "Title alias (URL)" in article manager and this made your ext re-read the blog post. So now in the preview windows it shows the correct image attached to the article. But when I actually do the shared post, it shows a completely different image on Facebook!! Talk about annoying! Then I try again using Google Plus. It shows just fine!

What is going on here? Btw I turned off my jotcache and cleared temp files. That did not help with the above problems. Only when I erased the Title alias (URL) did it seem to change. But its still not grabbing the correct image.

Facebook determines which image to show based on the og:image tag on the page. If they are incorrect, missing, too small or Facebook has trouble connecting to your page, Facebook attempts to find an image from other areas of your site. This would usually be why you're seeing a random image for the page.

This is also actually a topic in our Common Support Questions for 'My Share Preview is incorrect'. Please follow the steps listed there to help diagnose the issue.
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/common-support-questions/ If you still are having problems after trying this suggestions, please provide a URL where you are seeing the behavior.

Compression is turned off. I used both tools in checking things out. The debugger site never gives me a good grade. For some reason it can never bring up the images which totally kills my score. The debugger page on facebook found the correct image and told me it would show. But when I posted it, I got the same results as in the screen shots.

this is the url I'm trying to share. I've tried different post as well with the same results. Do i have too many side modules going on or something?

For some reason it can never bring up the images which totally kills my score.

The reason why this is failing is exactly what I mentioned in my first response. There is no og:image tag on the page. I just ran it through the FB debugger and hit the 'Fetch new scrape information' button and received the error that no image tag was found. While the Facebook debugger does show an image that will be displayed on the page if you scroll down, as I mentioned before, this is completely random and whatever FB decides to do. Our Social Debug tool page does not randomly pick images and is purely working off the tags on the page, which is why you're never seeing an image there.

Here's the warning in the FB debugger:

To fix this, you will need to add image tags to the page, which can be accomplished in JFBConnect by the following ways:
1. It looks like you're using K2 to display these pages, so enable the 'Open Graph - K2' plugin. When enabled, JFBConnect can automatically determine the image to add.
2. If you don't like the image chosen in #1, create an object in JFBConnect > Open Graph > Objects for the appropriate K2 category and make sure to set the desired "Image Type" value to the option that suits you best.
3. If you're not using K2 and there isn't another appropriate Open Graph plugin for your content extension, you can add an {SCOpenGraph image=FULL_PATH_TO_IMAGE} tag in your content.
4. JFBConnect > Open Graph > Configuration also provides a way to set a default image for all pages.

Please follow these steps to properly add the tags and it should resolve your issues.

Forgot to thank you. Everything works now. I somehow forgot to turn on the k2 plugin. I thought it was done automatically.

No problem. Too many customers would get upset if we automatically enabled plugins on their sites. But I'm glad that it actually turned out to be a simple fix for you and hopefully it didn't take too long to straighten out.
