Many thanks

Anni,

When Automatic Registration is disabled in JFBConnect, the user can be prompted for Terms and Conditions before a user can be created. First, the user must click the social network button. Then depending on which Social Profile plugins are enabled and their corresponding T&C settings, the user will be forced to accept the terms before the Register button click will go through. Our Social Profile plugins that currently support T&C should be JomSocial, CB, EasySocial, and Joomla.

I think this should answer your question, but please let me know if you need any further help.

Thanks
-Melissa

Thanks, but I am not quite sure I am getting this right.
I have disabled Automatic Registration and have set component to Joomla, and if someone clicks on the register button, I can set the T&Csowever, if someone clicks on sign in with Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn it just all goes straight through and they are connected. How can I make them agree to T&Cs first?

Thanks
Anni

Anni,

I just looked at this on my test site to try to reproduce our problem, but it worked as expected. When I click on the Facebook button to create an account, it brings me to a login/register page and I received the following warning message when I do not agree to the terms:
"Field required: Terms of Service:"

The following are the configuration setup steps I took to test. Please verify that you have done the same:
1. Enable the 'User - Profile' plugin and set 'Terms of Service' to Required and select a TOS Article
2. Enable the 'Social Profiles - Joomla' plugin
3. Set JFBConnect > Configuration > General > 'Enable Automatic Registration' to No and 'Registration Component' to Joomla
4. In JFBConnect > Profiles > Joomla tab, set 'Always Import Profile Data' to Yes and map appropriate fields to Joomla user profile fields.

If the above steps all match your site configuration, please take a screenshot of your configuration areas for JFBConnect > Configuration > General Tab for the User, Automatic Registration and Normal Registration sections and the JFBConnect > Profiles > Joomla tab so we can see what's different.
