Pofile pic did not appear in easysocial user profile , no cover pic too

Please ensure that the 'Social Profiles - EasySocial' plugin is enabled. Then navigate to JFBConnect > Profiles > EasySocial tab and set the first three options for import profile data, avatar and cover photo to Yes.

User Name: appears as fb_123433 and non-editable

In JFBConnect > Configuration > General, change the 'Auto Username Prefix' to something other than 'fb_,g_' to have a better prefix. If you are using Normal Registration ('Enable Automatic Registration' is set to No), then set the 'Username Field on Registration' field to something where you can edit it, like 'Generate and Show' or 'Leave Blank'.

If these options are already set as above and you're still having problems, please let us know.

Hi Melissa,

Thanks for your reply and really sorry for delayed response from our side.

As you suggested, in tat way issue 1 is resolved and issue 2 is also working fine for us. But we like to share some more here.

1. Using manual log in user name is editable for 1st log in not afterward. Is there a way to achieve that too?
2.I want to stop retrieving facebook last status on login and registration. please suggest me a way.
3. On registration using social account, its currently redirect to a page where user has been asked to choose a option tat if already have an account or they want to create a new one. Is it possible to deal this process with in same pop up of SCLog in module?
4.Also we have observed an inconsistency in log out through SCLlog out buttom after some time being on line, it's unable to logout from account.

Thanks in advance,

Arnab

We're glad to hear Melissa's earlier advice worked for you. Hopefully the below answers help as well:

1. Using manual log in user name is editable for 1st log in not afterward. Is there a way to achieve that too?

Username is something that generally can't be changed, per Joomla. There's lots of extensions and display of the username throughout the site, so letting a user change it on their own can lead to issues.

2.I want to stop retrieving facebook last status on login and registration. please suggest me a way.

In the JFBConnect -> Profiles area, there's an option for "Import Social Network Status". Disable that.

3. On registration using social account, its currently redirect to a page where user has been asked to choose a option tat if already have an account or they want to create a new one. Is it possible to deal this process with in same pop up of SCLog in module?

No, we don't offer a registration flow in a popup. You can disable that page altogether by enabling the "Enable Automatic Registration" option in JFBConnect.

4.Also we have observed an inconsistency in log out through SCLlog out buttom after some time being on line, it's unable to logout from account.

Not sure what could be happening here. Does this happen only when you logged in using a social network, or with Joomla credentials as well? Can you test the standard Joomla login module to see if it's able to log you out? We'd likely need to investigate this issue further on your site.

Thanks,
Alex
