I dont understand why the site loops on a user that uses the fb login to access the site. all the other activated social media links work fine, the fb use to work fine until 2 nights ago, it took me a few hours to narrow it down to the fb login which was causing the site to go into an endless loop. help, right now there is no access to my site for visitors who signed up through facebook..

Can you try disabling SEF URLs and any JFBConnect Social Profile plugins you have enabled and re-test? If that doesn't work, please tell us the URL of the page that is looping and if possible set up a page that we can access which has the Facebook login enabled.

Thanks

I see the SCLogin module on the front page. However, the only providers I see are Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. I don't know if you disabled it again, but could you please set it up so I can look into it this morning?

Could you please PM me credentials for the backend so that I can edit some JFBConnect settings to investigate?

There were a few issues we encountered on your site. First, you have JotCache enabled and it seems like it’s configured to use browsing caching. That should not be enabled on any sites where users log in because it will cache the logged out version of the page and show it to them even after they are logged in, which will cause a lot of confusion. For instance, only about half the time could I get the Log in with LinkedIn button to work and only about half of the time would clicking Log out actually log me out as a user.

Additionally, there are looping errors that seem to try to direct users to the SBO Packages page. That is not caused by JFBConnect. Whenever you do get into the redirect state, you can verify that JFBConnect is not the cause by disabling the JFBCSystem plugin and you’ll see the redirect issue still happens. When our plugin is disabled, JFBConnect is completely disabled. You’ll need to investigate whatever redirect extension you’re using and fix that.

Our recommendations are to disable all the caching on the page (Joomla caching, JotCache, etc) while testing and focus on your redirection extensions.

Let me know if you need any clarification but I hope that helps you get started with a resolution.
