Hi,

I am experiencing a 1064 error, but only after logging into my site using JFBConnect. I have two user accounts on my Jomsocial account for testing. When I log in using the account created through Jomsocial registration, everything appears to work fine. I can click the 'Home' menu item and I return to the homepage of the website.

Now, if I login from the Community page (Jomsocial) the JFBConnect login works fine. But now if I click on the 'Home' menu item I get the 1064 error. The full text is:

YOU HAVE AN ERROR IN YOUR SQL SYNTAX; CHECK THE MANUAL THAT CORRESPONDS TO YOUR MYSQL SERVER VERSION FOR THE RIGHT SYNTAX TO USE NEAR ') ) ) ) ) ORDER BY A.ID DESC LIMIT 10' AT LINE 1 SQL=SELECT A.* FROM `RRJHT_COMMUNITY_EVENTS` AS A INNER JOIN `RRJHT_COMMUNITY_EVENTS_CATEGORY` AS B ON A.`CATID` = B.`ID` LEFT JOIN `RRJHT_COMMUNITY_GROUPS` AS C ON A.`CONTENTID` = C.`ID` WHERE A.`PUBLISHED` = '1' AND ( (A.`ID` IN (2) AND ( (A.`PERMISSION` = '0' AND A.`CONTENTID` = '0') OR (A.`PERMISSION` = '0' AND A.`CONTENTID` > '0' AND C.`APPROVALS` = '0') OR (A.`CONTENTID` > '0' AND C.`APPROVALS` = '1' AND C.`ID` IN () ) ) ) ) ORDER BY A.ID DESC LIMIT 10
1064

Can you please help me? It seems strange that everything works fine if I login using the Jomsocial account and that I only see this error after logging in with JFBConnect.

Thanks,

Eric.

You're likely using another 3rd party Mega Module for JomSocial events. That's not our module, but we first heard a report of the issue you mention about a month ago in the post below:
www.sourcecoast.com/forums/jfbconnect/jf...figuring-jfb-connect

That thread will describe the issue more. I'm not sure if that user contacted the developer, but they never responded, which could mean the developer was able to fix it for them.

Please contact the Mega Module developer and see if they can help narrow down what's going on there. If they are able to, please report back here as we'd love to hear the resolution.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

Sorry - it was me that reported the initial problem. I didn't realise that I'd re-published the Mega module for Jomsocial. Problem solved once again!

Hehehe. That's funny. It took me a few searches to find that post, but I didn't even notice that it was from you.

Well, again, if you find out anything from that developer, please let us know. We'll gladly help investigate things further if the dev comes back with some information on what's going wrong.

Thanks,
Alex
