Hi, the login with Facebook button, when clicked, goes through all the auth process, and now fails...
Can you look here please: LOG IN
Thanks,
Matt

Matt,
The account you posted from doesn't have an active subscription. Can you post from the account that you ran Autotune from so that we can look up your history to better understand what may have happened? Autotune has *no* way of disabling JFBConnect, even if your subscription has expired, so we'll need to understand what could have changed.

As for your site, I just tried to authenticate and was brought to the permissions prompt on Facebook. I didn't approve it though as I'd like to know more about what is, or isn't, happening so that I can test the prompt more going forward.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Apologies... I signed in with FB instead of signing in with my active account... I'm aware I only have a week or so left on my subscription, but this is the first chance I've actually had to install this on my particular site in the last 6 months!
It created an account for me fine, and added me as a user within K2 users, but then next time when I try to do the login, it doesn't log me in...
I think the problem was that I'd deleted the associated user, and removed the app permissions on Facebook to try again, and the database was then looking for a non-existent user.
Fingers crossed it's working now. The only thing that isn't working now is that the activation dialog pops up, then I click and confirm the activation email, but it doesn't activate the user in the back end... it still relies on the administrator to activate and enable...
How do I control that?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi,
In fact cancel that... it still doesn't work after all...
I need it to be working with SH404SEF enabled as well, but I'm not getting any joy at all!
Any ideas?

Thanks again

In sh404SEF, please go to the component configuration area and make sure it's set to "Skip" SEF URL creation for JFBConnect. If it caches the wrong authentication URL, it can cause problems during future logins.

Hopefully, that's all it is, but if you still need assistance, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
