As to your issue, I initially looked yesterday when you made the post, but didn't have any answers at that point. Looking again with a little more time, it's clear what's causing the problem. Our Channels feature currently just reads 'status update' type posts from your page and displays them. However, Facebook also returns other items, like Events and updating your Cover or avatar photo in the stream, and it seems like JFBConnect simply doesn't process that correctly.
We already have some updates planned for the Social Stream feature in the v6.2 release, due out early next week (along with some other great features). I'm going to see if we can determine the cause of the problem you're running into and get it into that release as well. Unfortunately, it will take another day or so to get you an answer though.
