I'd like the SCLogin module to show *JUST* the Facebook login button. Nothing more. No registration, no username/password - just Facebook.
That should all be possible. In the settings, there are options for "Show Login Form" and options to hide the "Register" and "Forgot Password" type links. In the Social settings area, you can use the "Providers" box and just set it to "facebook". That will only show the Facebook login button.
Another option is to use the {JFBCLogin providers=facebook} tag, which can be placed anywhere on your site to show just the Facebook login button, even if you have other social network providers enabled.
Further, if the system has a login for a user, it can offer to link them up if they've never used Facebook before, but since I have registration turned off, this should never happen. In essence, it's a login only, and only for accounts that already exist on the system that I create by hand.
I'm not sure what you mean here. What login are you talking about? The social buttons that we add to the login page (if you have that option enabled) will register the user if they don't already have an account. If there's something else your talking about, let me know.
This is for a site with about five users, all known, all admins. It lets them log in to the front side, but there is NO reason for anyone else to ever log in or create an account.
Confused again. Are you saying that users shouldn't be able to register using social logins as well? In that case, I'd recommend simply turning on activation in Joomla and *not* having JFBConnect "Skip Joomla Activation". Then, if you (the admin) never approve them, the few accounts that are created still won't be able to login.
Let me know if that helps!
