Hi,

i have a request about the point system of jomsocial with rule from jbfconnect.

there is a few rules that i will be happy to get:

1. invite - when a user invite people to the community i want the ability to award him/her with points.
2. success of invitation, if a person that was invited joined the community i want to award the person that joined.

that is for now :)

Amita,
Right now, we don't support JomSocial points within JFBConnect. We're planning to add support for JomSocial (and other extension) point systems later this year for features within JFBConnect.

Right now, we're planning for supporting awarding of points when invitations are sent, FB Like buttons are clicked and FB Comments are left.

I hope that helps answer your question, even if we don't have the features you're looking for just yet.

Hi Alex,

i remember that you told me and i quote:
"Our hope is get the new point rewards in the 6.2 release. Until then, we can help you add some rules now, if you need. Just post in our forums what you’re looking for, and we’ll help however we can. We’ve already helped some users add points to users profiles for some actions, like clicking the Like button and leaving Comments."

We can help you with some rules for awarding points in JomSocial. It will take some investigation to do so though. Can you let me know what you're looking to award points for? New FB Likes, new FB Comments, etc?

JFBConnect already has the ability to send Facebook Requests, which are invitations using Facebook. We don't have the ability to award points to users that send invitations yet, though that is planned.

The 6.2 release is in development, but we don't have a timeline for when it will be available other than later this year.
