Like Fan box without faces

My guess is that the color of the text is just wrong and that the extra text about "148 people Like ..." is still there, just hidden. Can you try changing the Color Scheme setting to see if that improves things?

If not, let me know a URL where we can see the Like button with the text missing and we'll gladly help investigate further.

Thanks for the access. Unfortunately, it seems like that's just how Facebook shows the Like Box when configured to *not* show Faces. You can fully test using their configuration tool and test the different outputs with all the settings:
developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages

One other option that may work for you is simply using the "Like Button" instead of the "Like Box". That can be used to Like a Facebook Page, but it won't show the image from the Facebook Page like you're currently showing.
