Login One! extension was created by rapmag1
Hi Alex,

I'm wanting to add the Login One! extension to my Joomla 3.3 site to prevent sharing of user names/passwords. The Login One! site says that it does not guarantee compatibility with any other login extensions, like JFBConnect, I assume.

Link to extension: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-...gin-protection/15932

My question is, are you aware of any compatibility issues with this extension?

Thanks,
jv

jv,
I have no information about compatibility either for or against that plugin. All I can recommend is trying it out and seeing what happens. If you run into issues, let us know what happens. We'll gladly try to help fix things, if we can, but first we'll need to hear what happens.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,

In the event Login One! does not work with JFCConnect, I wanted to test the site using just the default Joomla login, essentially disabling the login with social credentials via JFBConnect. I don't want to disable JFBConnect totally; I just want to disable the login with social credentials and use the default Joomla login. I was unable to locate a parameter to just turn this off, so I unpublished the SCLogin module and published the default Joomla module. Now, when I try to login with the Joomla default module, I get a 404 error. I can't log in. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Thanks,
jv

We don't have a method to disable the social login features. Right now, if you have the App ID/Secret Keys set for a network, authentication is available for that network.

Now, when I try to login with the Joomla default module, I get a 404 error. I can't log in. Any ideas on why this is happening?

First, make sure the redirection is set to a proper/correct URL.

Beyond that, I'd recommend disabling the JFBCSystem plugin entirely. That disables all JFBConnect functionality. If the standard mod_login module still doesn't work, then it means the issue isn't related to JFBConnect. After that, I'd disable other plugins that may interfere, like LoginOne! to see if that's the problem.

I hope that helps, but if you have any other questions, let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
