Hello,

Our Facebook login has been working fine until today.
Users can still log in with google+ twitter and linked in just not with facebook.
There has been no changes over the last few days in our settings or backend.

Have ran error reports and all is ok, jfbconnect reports no errors or issues either.

When a user hits the facebook login button a facebook window opens and closes just like they are logging in, but the remain logged out?
Facebook doesn't report any faults either.
www.horseclub.com.au is our site if you can take a look and shed some light.

Sorry an update, users can login using their facebook credentials in the username password fields of jomsocial, they cant login using the facebook login button.

I just tried to login using the Facebook button on your site. The login popup window showed me the following message:

We could not log you in: You can't log in to this app because you do not meet this app's requirements for country, age or other criteria.

That means that you've set some sort of restriction on your Facebook Application. Please go to the Facebook Developer area and try removing the restriction (age, geographic region, etc) and see if that helps.

If not, please try going to the JFBConnect -> Configuration area and enabling the "Include jQuery / Bootstrap" setting.

Between those two settings, I think you'll get things going. If not though, just let us know.

Bit of an update,

I have noticed that is only my account that can't access our site via facebook.
We have another account and that is accessing ok.

I have attached the app details from my facebook account in an image.
I had noticed that in jfbconnect user map my facebook account was disabled where as the others were enabled.
I could not find a way to enable my account as the parent menu subject said FB App Authorized, so I took a look at facebook and couldn't find how to enable it.
I deleted my account and the app details from my facebook and website and started again adding myself to our website.
I have entered my details and facebook has received information about the horseclub app but I don't appear in our website under JFBConnect or joomla user manager.

I just tried to login again, and that time it worked. Not sure if there was a temporary glitch with Facebook last night, but anything is possible.

I have noticed that is only my account that can't access our site via facebook.

Does it still just show the authentication popup and then disappear? Can you try logging out of Facebook.com and then clicking the button on your site. Does it ask for your credentials and then just disappear then too?

Now that it's working for me, I'm not sure what's happening to your specific account.

As for the User Map area which shows your account as disabled, that simply means that you removed the app from your Facebook Profile. That has no effect on how JFBConnect actually works. It's simply a way to let you (the admin) know which users have removed your app. Once you successfully log back into your site using JFBConnect/Facebook, the usermap area will show you as 'Approved' again.

Keep me posted on anything you find.

Hi Alex

I deleted my account on our site and deleted the facebook app from my facebook account 3 times and tried to connect to our site. Nothing happened so I decided to leave it alone for 24 hrs. I tried the following day and connected straight away with no hassles so either it fixed itself or I have jammed that many Joomla extensions into our site that it has created an AI.

Will keep you informed if anything changes and I can grab it as it happens.
