Hello,
I just bought JFB Connect today, and thus far, I am quite happy with it. Looking forward to seeing a big jump in interaction on my site. However, I do have one concern.
I am a totally blind user. Thus, I have to rely on a screen reader to read screen contents out for me. I am using Voiceover on Mac os 10.7. While going through the setup, I spotted several places where there were yes/no options, such as importing Facebook profiles and status updates and such. I would assume that these work similar to either check boxes or radio buttons, however for whatever reason, my screen reader is not reading them as such. Thus, since they're not working like standard buttons or check boxes, I have no way of knowing which is selected and which isn't. Also, even if I press one, I have no way of knowing if it had the desired effect. While I understand that you all have to program for the masses, I would appreciate either a fix, or help setting everything up the way I need it.
Thanks,
Justin

Justin,
I'm sorry for the trouble you're running into. We do some testing with basic 'accessibility checks', but I have no doubt it doesn't cover every case or every type of screen reader out there. While we'll gladly look into improvements we can make to improve the admin area, if you have specific configuration needs (you're using JomSocial and you need to import the user's avatar and profile, etc), just let us know. We can gladly help setup basic things like that for you.

We don't offer full configuration and setup services, but we'll gladly help get you going however we can.

To send any private information, like super admin credentials, please use the Private Message features of this forum. You can access that from under my avatar to the left, from the "Messages" menu above or by clicking this link to private message me now .

Thanks,
Alex
