Topic-icon Tracking a new user registration as Google Analytics goal with JFCB?

This probably a bit off topic, but I know there are experts at SC! :-))

I wondered if this could be done for all user registrations in JFCB - whether they come from a 'basic' registration (i.e. entering account details) or a social media login.

I assume the easiest way would be url tracking in Analytics, which I'll guess is possible with basic account registrations ... but what about the social media registrations?

Thanks,

Dale.

Dale,
Sorry for the delayed response. The best way to track new user account creations is to:
* Setup a special "Welcome page" just for new users.
* On that page, add the proper Google Analytics tag for tracking that the user just registered
* Configure JFBConnect's "New User Redirection" setting to redirect new users to that page.

There may be some other options like altering our code to automatically add some tags to the next page load (whatever page it is) to add the tags as well. That's a bit more complex though, and depending on how you have the New User Redirection setting, may not be necessary.

I hope that helps explain, but if you have any questions, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
