I've got a comments section on one of my clients pages, and I can see all the comments fine, as can most people - but others are having issues. For example, it shows up fine of IE 10, but they don't appear on IE 11. They are present in some iPhones but not others. I can't see the issue!!!

Thanks in advance

I don't see anything wrong on that site. The HTML looks great, the Facebook inclusions are correct, and everything looks exactly how it should.

Things I tried:
* I opened that page in Chrome and IE11.
* I tried while I was logged into Facebook and while not logged into Facebook
** In all 4 cases, the comments showed properly for me.
** That indicates its not a geographic or age restriction issue. It also, to me, doesn't seem to be a browser issue since IE11 worked.
* I ran your URL through the Facebook URL Debug Tool . There are no errors on that page and no unwanted tags that could be causing problems either, like restrictions on viewers.

The only thing I can recommend is to try again from the 'bad' browsers. Running a page through the Debug Tool can update Facebook's cache, and it's possible there was some issue previously that was causing problems.

Beyond that, when you test, please try while logged into Facebook.com and while not logged into Facebook.com to see if that changes the behavior. That will help narrow down possible problems if there's a relationship to your logged in status.

Thanks,
Alex

Followed all your steps but didn't find anything which would lead to a solution! So, instead, I rebuilt the entire site on J! 3.x as the old one was J! 2.5. Now I have a new problem - the old comments show, but the new ones don't. I have changed the order of comments, the number shown, ensured they're all public - on the facebook dev area, they all showing there, in the same place.

What could I be missing?

I just tried the site again. One thing I notice is that the site can be reached over www and non-www. Facebook tracks all comments by the full URL. That means that if a user leaves a comment on the www version of the site, the comments won't be seen on the non-www version and vice versa.

What we always recommend is setting up a redirection so that all your content always goes to www or non-www (either one), but that both aren't accessible. That's good for social networks and general SEO purposes.

The same goes for http and https, if you have an SSL certificate. In JFBConnect v6.1, there's also an option for "Force Scheme" which will make all the comments, social like buttons and other widgets use https or http, depending on what you'd prefer.

I hope that helps narrow things down. If the comments aren't displaying still when you're sure you're using the same scheme (http://) and subdomain (www or non-www), let us know, and we can help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex
