6.1 UPDATE problem with google+ button

also when you upgrade noticed it turns off facebook buttons on upgrade and you have to reset them which is not really a issue,

Not sure what you mean here. What are you 'resetting'? There are new options in 6.1 to set the choice of image for the login buttons. It's possible that's causing some issue we aren't aware of. Glad it sounds like an easy fix though.

Just upgraded to 6.1 and social buttons google+ button now fails to connect

What happens when you try: is there an error message? Does the page just reloads? Does the standard prompt from Google appear when you try to register a new account to approve your website's Google application?

Can you set the "Enable Debug Mode" in JFBConnect -> Configuration to 'Yes' and see if that provides any new error messages when you try to connect?

Finally, I just tried to login on one of the sites you've upgraded to 6.1 on and run Autotune. I couldn't find the login button anywhere. Can you let me know a site we can test on?

Glad to hear things are working for you now. Not sure what happened either, but sometimes gremlins can creep in for just a little while and cause problems.

Thanks for the compliment. That means a huge amount to us. The 6.1 release has a *huge* amount of changes, both in new features and bug-fixes, but also in general architectural changes. Those underlying changes are meant to make things easier for development going forward (always a goal), which will provide even more features later this summer. However, because of all those changes, we haven't gone out of our way to promote 6.1 yet. We do a massive amount of testing before every release, but we wanted to get it in the hands of some guinea pigs early adopters before we alerted the world. So far, so good, and next week, we'll be sending out newsletters, have blog posts and doing a lot else since it's been a smooth few days already. Thanks!
