How do I disable the widget in the attached pic?

I'm not sure why it's showing like it is. Normally the social toolbar is on the left side and all horizontal, not stacked like that. It also only shows to super administrators, just so you know.

Regardless, of how it looks, right now there's not an option to completely disable it. There will be an option in the 6.1 release, due later this month. Until then, if you want to make a code change to disable the widget, please follow the instructions in this post .

Yup, we understand. In 6.1, we're adding another button as well, but will be adding the overall ability to disable it if you never want to see it.

In 6.2, we'll be adding more buttons with a lot more fine grained control of exactly what buttons show. The idea, eventually, will be a customizable toolbar of social features (and possibly any custom buttons) to make it easier to administer your page.

Of course, if you have no interest in such a thing, then in 6.1+, you'll be able to easily remove it so you don't have to think about it again.
