Hi Alex,

I having this issue for a while, when user click in home page button, or home menu, get partial disconnect, i mean partial, because if user click in other page is still connected, even you can see the chat keep connected, but that ony happen if user login using facebook credential, in other previews tickets you told me this not happen in your end, well at this time the issue happen sometime yes sometime not, but now maybe after last, joomla, jomsocial, and jfbcconnect install, the issue happen all time, i've created a link in the logo site redirecting to: www.solterascristianas.com/index.php if user click in the logo with this url get connect back but never using: www.solterascristianas.com what i need is not make the redirection to: www.solterascristianas.com/index.php i like this work with or without /index.php as work usign normal login or other credentials

I contacted jomsocial support about that, and this what they told me:

Message :
Hi Romulo Ruiz,
I have noticed the issue at your site but
It seems you are using "JFBC Connect" for facebook login.
Can you contact with them as it is not our product.
Thanks

Best Regards

Can you check if you have the JomSocial - Redirect plugin enabled (in the system group)? If so, please try disabling it to see if that solves your problem.

If not, please let me know:
* What version of Joomla you're using
* What version of JomSocial you're using
* What version of JFBConnect you're using

Once we have that information, we'll be able to investigate further and hopefully provide you a solution.

As for the links with index.php in them, I'm not sure what you're saying there. Are you saying you do not like the redirection to index.php after you login? Is that problem related to the login issue where you aren't always logged in properly, or are those separate issues?

Thanks,
Alex

Can you Private Message admin access to your site so we can investigate further? Not sure what's happening then.

Thanks,
Alex

Romulo,
Thanks for the admin access. The cause of your issue was that you have the System - Cache plugin enabled along with it's "Enable Browser Cache" setting. When browser caching is enabled, if a user visits a page while not logged in the browser will cache that page. Later, if they authenticate and visit that page again, the browser will load the older cached version from when they weren't logged in. So, the user looks logged out on that page, but they are actually still logged into your site.

The Browser Caching option should never be used on any sites that use authentication for just this reason.

I hope that helps get you going, but if you have any other questions, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

Glad we could help with that issue. The browser caching is an option that many users enable without understanding the 'bad' things that can happen with it. We're actually working on a new test in our Autotune Error Check tool to detect when browser caching is enabled to make it easier to diagnose.

As for emails, I'm not sure why you're not getting them. We'll have to look into it further. It seems like our forum software doesn't seem to like to send emails to a few users, but we're not sure what the reason is.
