JBFC Login layout was created by ozshots
Hi,
I am considering to place login in the top right corner of website. At the moment height is over 400 pixels, and I need smaller option.
Can I change layout to more horisontal?

In addition, maybe I can have login in little drop-down window, you click "login" link and it opens?

There isn't an option to make things horizontal in the logout view automatically. However, all the elements in that area have good CSS id's and classes, which you should be able to use to move things around as necessary. Additionally, you can disable the "Show Reconnect Button(s)" setting, which will remove everything under the Logout button.

For the Login button, we don't currently have a drop-down method to show the form, but we do have a "Modal" popup view, like we use on this site. That definitely conserves space and may be what you're looking for.

I hope that helps,
Alex

In the "Login View Settings" there is a setting (which I just realized is very strange) called "Login View Settings". Change that to "Modal" and you'll see a simple Login button which will show a popup and use less space.

The "Show Connect Account Button(s)" setting is in the Logout View Settings section.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Thank you Alex, this works!

If I choose modal dialog, is there a way to still show FB and Google icons on the main page?
I know you have too many options already... :-)

Alex,
Right now, we don't have an option to still show the social login buttons outside of the modal. It's a good idea actually, but as you mention, there's a lot of settings already.

If you want to add the social buttons right now, there's a few ways to do so:
* Create another instance of the SCLogin module in the same module position. In the settings, you can hide the Joomla login form and still show the social buttons.
* Make some modifications to our SCLogin template files to always show the social buttons. We can help with this, but it would be like that for all instances of the module, which may not be what you're looking for. It would also require the same changes to be made whenever you upgrade.

I hope that gives you some ideas, but if you still have questions, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
