We actually just had a similar report from another user in this thread . Facebook doesn't seem able to scan your pages either.

I'd recommend going through the suggestions in that thread, especially the last post about disabling GZip compression in the Global Configuration area. Once you've done that, run your page through the Facebook URL Debug tool to see if your tags are properly fetched.

Hopefully that will get you going, but if not, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Glad to hear that got you going. We have it on our plate to investigate why the GZip compression causes issues on some sites. It's not all sites though, and seems very odd. For now, obviously, please leave it disabled and you should be good to go.

If you need anything else from us, just let me know. We're here to help however we can.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,

I have exactly the same problem.
I already disable gzip, but still continues without displaying the images.

I have run the error debug, and this is the result:

developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/o...e-internacional.html

Can you help my?
Thanks

I'm sorry for the delayed response. I initially started investigating this after your post, but didn't have many answers right away. We've been investigating some more since, and hopefully the below information helps.

The link you posted above doesn't work for me either. It shows "Error parsing input URL, no data was scraped." However, in the URL input, if I simply remove the 's' in https and try again, the URL properly works. The Debug tool properly follows the redirection from http:// to https:// and the results output as expected.

After that, I copied the "Canonical URL" and put it in the debug tool to test and that seemed to work.

So, there's something strange going on with the URL you posted with the direct link to the debug tool, but I'm not sure what it is. From testing though, I can get the tool to properly show the results though, so it *seems* like Facebook is able to scan your page.

I hope that helps get you started. Please test and see if you have the same results. We've never seen this type of problem before, so we'd love to hear if you can recreate what I've said seems to be working.

Thanks,
Alex
