Multi Profiles was created by missycarter
I suspect that the poorly defined handling of multi profiles on my site is a big contributor to social media connection issues.

I have tried using Easy_Profiles pro version which I am unimpressed by, so is there any alternative to installing Jomsocial simply to get effective profile options? By this I simply mean
1. Choice of profile type
2. Upon selection, fields specific to that registration displaying?

I am not getting confused with social plugins, as imported data refers to individuals whereas data for Ad_Agency and CM Coupons for example require business information, logos etc which are not stored on social profiles.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Sorry for the delay.

We've never used Easy Profiles. It definitely seems pretty 'green'. I hope it develops further, but I haven't heard great things about it so far.. every extension starts somewhere though.. and JFBConnect was a completely different extension a long time ago from what it is now.

I don't have any great suggestions for you. JomSocial and EasySocial are overkill for just multiple profiles. The only other extension I'd recommend looking into is Extended Reg . That whole extension's purpose is to store custom user profile data. It doesn't have groups, events, and all the other things that the 'community' extensions have.

Unfortunately, we don't currently have integration in JFBConnect for ExtendedReg. However, it's something we've considered. If it looks like something that would work for you, let us know, and we may be able to whip something up for you to test (given a week or so).

Let me know if that helps, and good luck!
Alex
