Help, please: API error on JFBConnect config

A "Name lookup timeout" is an indication of a server misconfiguration problem. It means your server is unable to resolve the IP address for any of the following URLs:
api.facebook.com/
api-read.facebook.com/
graph.facebook.com/
www.facebook.com/
api-video.facebook.com/

For many of JFBConnect's functions, your server will need to be able to communicate with Facebook's servers to authenticate the user, post content on their behalf or do the general configuration of your app. You'll need to contact your hosting company to make sure that DNS requests are properly working for those domains above and that outgoing requests to other servers are available (not blocked by a firewall, for example).

I hope that helps explain things. There's nothing in JFBConnect that we can do to get around this as it's lower level than JFBConnect or even Joomla itself.
