Modal works only on 2 pages on my site. If I click "register" on the module, then login, it works. If I click "contact us" and it goes to the Joomla contact form it works. Otherwise it doesn't work. I tried disabling all other modules and plugins on the site and get the same result.

I'm using Yootheme and Widgetkit. J 3.2.3 and JFB 6.0.3

When it's not working I see #login-modal in the URL

The site is www.watchthinkvote.com

Thanks

Where should I be testing? The Login module in the top right is now using an auto-open dropdown and seems to be working fine for me. Can you let me know if you disabled something, are still having this problem, and if so, how to test?

We'll gladly help investigate once we understand the issue a bit more.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for your help. I moved the module to the upper left of www.watchthinkvote.com in the blue bar. I set it to modal. It does work on this page: www.watchthinkvote.com/contact

Thanks
Brian

Brian,
Sorry for the delayed response. I just got into your site to investigate things. I switched the only SCLogin instance to use the modal popup so in the menu it worked that way, then tried to narrow down what was wrong.

The issue is fixed now. The fix was to enable the Include JQuery/Bootstrap setting in JFBConnect. That includes a special JQuery and Bootstrap library that is sure to work with JFBConnect. Without it, conflicts between Javascript on your site can crop up and cause issues, like you were seeing.

I don't know what exactly the conflict is, so I can't help there. However, there is one really odd thing I found. The SCLogin module's code is being placed *after* your closing body and html tags. That's not being done by SCLogin. The div it's in is called "codeboxrvbuttonsfvmpj5showb1", so if that helps narrow down what may be inserting the code in the wrong place, hopefully that helps.

I reset the modal setting back to 'normal'. You can change it to modal and test further.

Hopefully that gets you going, but let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks,
Alex

No problem, it's what we're here for. I hope the above helped narrow things down and get you going. If not, or you have any other questions, just let us know!

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:
