Hi Alex, please advice

Search for a user . search result show 5 photos list found of that user. click in one of the results loads image with this error

administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/foundry.php on line 1821
Notice: Undefined variable: type in administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/foundry.php on line 1823

Hello Robert,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. It looks like this error is coming from one of the JFBConnect opengraph plugins. Can you help me notify Alex from Sourcecoast? The fix is really simple, send him the file /plugins/opengraph/easysocial/easysocial.php and he'll understand :)

Thanks
Robert

Sorry for the delayed response. We'll be releasing JFBConnect v6.0.4 next week which should fix the PHP Notice you have above. We haven't fully investigated the issue, but a fix should be relatively easy.

Additionally, just to note, the message you posted above is a PHP Notice, which is not a real error that should break the site. In general, you should set the Error Reporting setting to "None" in the Global Configuration area of Joomla to hide the non-critical errors on a production site.

I hope that helps, and thanks for the report,
Alex

Robert,
We are looking into this issue now. The file you sent to me by PM was the foundry.php file from EasySocial, not the easysocial.php profile plugin file that Mark mentioned above. Can you re-send the right file to me so I get a better picture of what Mark recommended to change?

Thanks,
Alex

I spoke incorrectly.. not the profile plugin file, but the open graph one. It should be /plugins/opengraph/easysocial/easysocial.php

Thanks!

Robert,
We're releasing v6.0.4 of JFBConnect today and haven't been able to recreate this issue. If you get a chance to send us the correct file, we'll gladly look into it further, but without that or being able to recreate the problem locally, there's not much we can do.

Thanks for your feedback,
Alex
