Hi - this may be a silly question - I have forgotten much of the detail about the program, and am testing a migration on a development site.
(Its worked so well for the last few years I have just let it do its business - and now I don't now how to use it properly it seems. I do seem to have the same problem on the original site however).
www.assetfinanceawards.com/ using community builder.
Normal registration works (click on register button) - and you get required fields and a captcha. I think this is the standard CB registration page. All works.
If however you click on Login, and then on FB button, you get the split screen LHS: login RHS register.
LHS works fine - I can use the login and join the fb to the login account.
RHS however has two problems - first that there is no CAPTCHA. Field name appears, but no captcha. Also I seem to get a User Profile fields including favourite book and date of birth, which my fleet leasing customers might find odd... (lol)
What I want is RHS to disappear the profile fields. Oh and for the registration people to be able to see the captcha you can see when you click on the register button.
My settings are:
1) Enable Auto Registration - NO
2) Auto LINK -YES
3) Skip Joomla Activation - YES
4) Show Profile Fields - Required only (trust me I never asked them about their favourite book)
5) Show imported fields - NO
If you need to play on the site, feel free (its a development site). I will email username and password (since its late here, and I really should be off to bed!).
Postscript - it would appear to be the same on the actual site. I think I never noticed the extra fields because I assumed people would click the register button to register. The captcha I added when those annoying computer generated registrations needed to get blocked. I would like it to work though, and have also noticed on the live site a number of people registering but not confirming, and I am guessing there is a small line of people who click on login when they want to register, move through the process you have in place to capture them, and then stop when they hit the barrier of the captcha (or perhaps they can't work out which is their favourite book
).
