Hi to all,
I noted that also if I reduce the value into the JFBCFan module settings "width" and "height", the dimension remains too big.
Please, I'm looking for understand the minimum width and height I can input.
Here Facebook doesn't mention the heght, while seem the minimun width is 292...

The minimum width is generally respected by Facebook, and should be 292px or greater. However, we've seen it work down to about 270px, I think.

The minimum height is variable. The header is a fixed amount. Once you add the stream, it takes up a lot of space, but also makes the module 'grow' to as big of a container that you put it in. So, if you're using the avatars and/or stream, the minimum height will grow. I don't know the exact dimensions for those fields though, you'd have to test enabling/disabling some of the features to determine what works best for the area you have available.

I hope that helps,
Alex

I tested again and, showing Faces, the minimum width is 292px.

Have it working on less width would be a too appreciate feature, 292px is really too much space!
Anyway, I think this small/big information should be in JFBConnect documentation, too useful...

There's not really a way we can make it work with smaller dimensions right now. Currently, we're using their Like-Box widget, which fixes the dimensions for each feature.

We are planning on a custom Fanbox widget that would be fully customizable. That's planned more for the April/May timeframe.

I hope that helps, and we'll look into adding that information to our documentation a little better as well.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
I add (for your roadmap decisions) that a way to have a minimum width 180 pixels like in Google+ Badge would be a good thing...

We don't support the Google+ Badge yet, but that's definitely on our to-do list for the shorter term. Now that we've added more social networks for, primarily, authentication, the next steps are to add more of each networks social widgets. JFBConnect v6 makes it much simpler to add these widgets, so expect to see a lot more coming. We always try to support every option/setting that each widget makes available as well.

Thanks for the feedback, as always,
Alex

Just to be sure you understood my English,
I know about your efforts on growing up with Google+ and other social features.

Writing my opinion on minimum width, I was referring about:

Ahh.. gotcha. Thanks for clarifying.

With our new Channels feature, we currently have the ability to 'push' content. With the update I spoke of above for a customizable FanBox area, that should be able to resize to just about any width. It's still in the planning stages, but we're planning it to be fully stylable however you want.

Thanks again for the feedback,
Alex
