Module CSS was created by behlthy4life
Hi - I have a couple of modules on my site JFBCFeed and JFBCFan but for the life of me I can seem to change anything via a custom CSS. Everything else in my CSS file works fine.

For instance if I want to change
.uiBoxLightblue {
background-color: #EDEFF4;
border: 1px solid #D8DFEA;
}

which chrome tells me is set in activity.php and I put my custom version in my CSS file...its doesnt do anything nor does it appear in the list of stylesheet overrides.

Thanks

Brad

Brad,
You can't override the styles of the elements within those modules. Facebook restricts what can be done to prevent changing their styles. They do that so that their looks and branding are constant when used on different sites. They used to have more flexibility over how each widget could look, but they removed that functionality as sites were completely removing Facebook branding and otherwise altering the looks in ways they didn't like.

Sorry to bring you the bad news, but I hope that helps explain,
Alex

No problem. Glad we could help explain, even if it wasn't really what you were looking to hear. As always though, should you need anything else, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
